I've come across one article in particular about prairie dogs being taken at over 1000 yds with these same 55 grainers and a 20BR.</p><p></p><p>To compare to some .224 cal performers, you've got to find a cartridge that will push 22 cal 70+ grain bullets to ~3500 fps to compete with that lil' 20BR (But now I'm trying to compare apples and oranges).
