3.5 Year Old What are your thought's

Problem is these pics are taken less than 100yds from a gravel road.

next year he could add 30 to 50 inches so most of the dilemma is he's at 150 now

Its private land of ours but road hunters driving by and seeing him 100yds off the road. No one is going to say dang it we cannot shoot it.
Just the sad truth of it. Now they will think different if we catch them. LOL

We would possibly implement the 3 S's🤫

If you're happy with him shoot him . That's my opinion. He could add quite a few inches if he makes it to next year . But with that being said he also could get hit by a car on said road and either die or get hurt bad enough that it stunts his horn growth. Or not sure exactly where you're at he could get caught by a predator or pack of predators.
So my opinion is if he makes you happy and you like the way he looks go get him

Like above, if he makes you happy, then shoot him. He's an awesome deer. Having said that, there's no was I'd shoot him, as he has incredible potential. Main frame 14 points are rare and he would really put on some length and mass in the next year or two.

Our Rut in Nebraska is in line with rifle season unfortunately give or take 1 week.
But in 50 plus years we have never had a 7x7 and as far as 6x6's not even 5 in that time hell we get excited for a 5x5.
here is a couple others.
The camera pics are of the tall 5x5 just 1 year ago
like the water Buffalo pic LOL

Looks like mass and width...i will guess he grew to 163"
Yes it is crazy from year 1.5 to 2,5 to 3,5 then there bodies are done and we have seen freaky growth from 3.5 to 4.5 when the muscle and bones are not in first order for the nutrition.
But the Genetics' have to be their in the first place
