It's not bad to work with you just can't make deep cut or try to drill to much at one time. It heats up and kind of trys to move out of the way rather than cut. Small cuts and you will be fine.
I found that using screw machine drill bits (shorter) and taking the hole out in steps then boring to center up and then reaming the last .002-.003 works really well.
