Titanium actions?

I have a Remington 700 Ti in 3006, hardly a heavy bbl gun but very accurate.
This is one of the first groups I shot out of it. It was the first handload I tried.
I can also tell you that Ross from Prairie Gun Works is an outstanding guy.

I do not suggest Titanium to customers
unless lightweight is the PRIMARY concern
of the rifle project in question. It is
not a question of strength, rigidity or
any other structural matter but the cost
is significantly higher than it is for stainless.
We have done some ultra light tactical rifles
on Ti Coyotes w/carbon wrap barrels that
were used for long distance tactical stalking
but for the most part Ti is limited to
lightweight hunting rifles.

hmnm, that sounds about right. Maybe I'll stick with steal.
It just seems logical, that if I wanted a long range tactical rifle with a heavy barrel, and wanted it to be a semi-portable hunting rifle then the Titanium action would be a great asset shedding a full pound off the total weight, and still having the same riggidness and strength of a heavier rifle.
Ross just out of curiousity how much does the Titanium timberwolf weight with the clip assembly?
