forgot to ask, how does it shoot?
kevin built my brother's 300 wm and it shoots the 190 berger lights out.

Awsome looking rifle! I love the SS barrel and black muzzle break. Planning the exact same thing on my 300win mag. And I think either leave the barrel as is or paint it OD green to match your stock, like said above.

It shoots great! 1/4 at 200 yards right now. Kevin had to get a new reamer for the build as your brothers rifle is a tight neck right? I did not want to turn necks so he got a new reamer for me. I have no place to shoot past 200yards at the monent at least no place with in and hour and a half. So I have not stretched its legs yet.

Im shooting
185g Berger VLD Hunting (.050 off the lands)
81.0g H1000
Nosler Brass
CCI BR2 primers

Sorry, but Im with the others on this one. O/D green. But black is always a better option than ''shining silver'' IMO. Either way, its a great lookin rig even as is.

I'd leave it the way it is now but to answer your question with only those two choices I'd guess I'd say silver but given free choice of colors I'd say match one of the colors in the camo stock.

Sound like your open to other colors other than silver or black, If so then I'd go with OD green.
