I have a Tikka T3 lite witha Leupold VX3, 3.5-10-40. I have a DNZ mount on it.

I want to set it up for long range, and think I need an MOA mount to keep the reticle more to center. All I have found it the EGW 20 moa. Is that too much for out to 500 yds? I was thinking 10 moa, but have not found one yet

Thoughts? (165gr at about 3000 fps)

I shoot my Ar at 600 yds with iron sights for competition.

I don't think you need anything, any scope should have plenty of elevation to shoot to 600 yards, that should only be like 12 moa or something like that. if you put a 20 moa rail on it, your scope would likely end up being less centered when you are only shooting to that distance.

I personally don't see the need for canted rails these days, a high quailty 30mm scope normally has 75-100moa of internal elevation, which is really substantially more than most guys can ever use.
