Tikka T3 Magazine Modification Question

I think about a Tikka T3 in 300WSM and doing the bolt modification to allow a longer bolt throw. But I don't want CDI DBM, which would allow a longer the use of AI magazines and a longer COAL, I want keep more compact, original factory plastic but still get a longer COAL.

So my questions is, has anyone successfully modified a 300wsm magazine to take advantage of longer COAL?

Alternatively, has anyone successfully modified the standard LA magazines (i.e for 30-06, 270, etc) to accept 300WSM?

Any descriptions, pictures or links to show how it is done would be appreciated.

So I was at the gun shop today. I tried loading a 300WSM cartridge in a Tikka long action magazine. It went in, much to my surprise. I thought I had read on the internet that 300WSM cartridges would not fit in a long action magazine due to their slightly larger diameter. But it did. It was a bit rough getting a shell in an out. But it sure felt like some judicial work with a file would fix this and then it would feed fine.

Has anyone tried modifying a tikka long action magazine to successful feed a short magnum shell?
