I'm considering buying a Tikka T3 Lite in 22-250. Tikka puts a 1:14 twist rifling in barrels chambered in 22-250. I am concerned that the gun will not shoot 55 gr. bullets well. Does anybody have any real world experience shooting the T3 Lite rifle in this chambering. I have a Sako L46 chambered in 222 Rem. that is rifled 1:14. It always shot 50 gr. bullets exceptionally well but would always send 55 gr. bullets down range half sideways.

Get the tikka, it'll be fine. A 22-250 is just a touch faster than the 222.
Tikka's have been dang accurate from what I've seen and heard. I have one in 270 and it's great.

Most 55 grain bullets will stablize in a 14 twist barrel. But the 53 grain Vmax won't in any gun I've been around. The 55 grain Vmax seems to work very well in a 14 twist, but has a lower B/C than the 53 grain bullet.
