I've been tossing the idea around of having my T3 bolts bushed to help with cratering. It isn't all that bad, but I'm moving into SR primers for my 260 comp loads and would like to avoid any catastrophic piercings. Has anyone here had or know of any T3 bolts that have been bushed? I can't imagine it wouldn't help, but I haven't found anyone that's offering the service.

he said they could do it. I measured my pin last night and its at .067, so it's bigger than the small bushed pin but smaller than the big non-bushed. might have to give it a try first.

Just tightening up the clearance between the pin and pin hole when installing the bushing will help a bunch. Greg has done several Remington 700 & Winchester 70 bolts for me and none show any catering - even with very hot loads.
