Ti brake

I mean I would personally run a Ti Pro 3 on a barrel that size. I just put one on my new 300 Norma project. If it's just a 7 RUM I think the Ti Pro 3 would be more than adequate, even if it is a lightweight build. I don't like having brakes that are too much bigger than the barrel. Even the Ti Pro 1 at .760" OD and 4 ports does a great job making a 300 Nosler that's under 8 lbs scoped a breeze to shoot.

here's the Ti Pro 3 on my 300 Norma. Straight turned to the barrel diameter of .910"

Thanks, Ken. What a beautiful start on my new rifle. This brake (2 ounce) will attach to a 26"BSF 26" barrel (44 ounce). The barrel will attach to a Pierce ultralight long action (18 ounce) sporting a Trigger Tech trigger (twenty ounce) set at twenty ounces. The action will support Talley rings (2 ounce) holding a March 2 1/2-25X52 (24 ounce). Holding the whole thing together will be a MPI stock (20 ounce).

Well almost the same.
Same action, scope and rings. You should save some weight in the stock. I did ti action screws and hasting recoil to shave some more weight but the stock added some back. But boy do I love that stock for quick shots while walking.
