Thread the ADL or just Rebarrel it

Was going off a post from Zak smith of Thunderbeast that they want .725 for 5/8 to shoulder a suppressor properly and .660 for 9/16.

What length barrel is it? If it's a 26" barrel, you might could chop it down to about 20"-22" to get to .725", then recrown and thread from there.

That's between a rock & a hard place... If it were mine, instead of fighting with it, I'd probably just bite the bullet, and rebarrel & rebuild it with a Proof CF or Bartlein 3B fluted contour at 26", that way you still get the most out of your gun, but it's able to do what you want without any issues.
