Zayne and Zaylea ran those Wyoming Antelope ragged opening weekend. Zayne shot a beautiful antelope opening day with his trusty 375 Zayne. A well placed 350 yard shot dropped the big buck with a 300 grain Accubond at 3250.
Zaylea showed her big brother how it was done with her 7mm-08. Zaylea and I were able to sneak up to within 200 yards of this guy as he was focused on a satellite buck. Zaylea broke him down with a 131 Hammer through the front shoulders. Tears of joy sealed the deal.

PS...while Zaylea and my father were gutting Zaylea’s Antelope, I was able to kill my doe with a 700 yard death ray out of my 338 RUM. Thanks to Zayne for the spot!

Very nice! Was this a public land hunt? A buddy and I are considering hunting Antelope next year, just trying to figure out where.

Thanks. This was a 100% public land hunt. The locals are incredibly friendly and scenery is breathtaking. Our favorite trip of the year by far.

Thanks Steve! Still amazed at your bullets. They just simply kill things.

The 131g Hammer Hunters make the little 7-08 into a fire breather. Really like that little bullet. Now you gotta get the kids on some elk!

.375? .338? You guys must really hate those speedgoats to hit them with an ICBM like that!

    Nice job.

We need to get the 329g Hammer Hunter in Zane's rifle. Or the 281g Hammer Hunter.

The 329 might be a good choice. Although the 300 grain bullets just turn that rifle into something I’ve never seen before. It’s like putting a supercharger on a car.

The smallest caliber we own is the 7mm-08. Then it jumps to the family for RUM’s. We like horsepower

Very nice and congrats to all. I'd say she's got her brother beat at least on this year's speedgoat!

One of the advantages I'm finding with the mono's is that typically they run considerably faster at lower pressures and no matter how fast you run them you never have to worry about them breaking up or blowing up.

No shallow explosions and no volleyball sized exit wounds.

I would certainly agree with you. The only bullet (until now) has been Hammers. 370,394,395 respectively. All have done very good on game. Clean kills with no tracking. Entrance and exit wounds have been better than expected. Steve certainly has some very good things going with his bullets.
