"The Hammer" (338 Edge porn)

Thanks for all the nice comments fellers. I did put quite a bit of thought into how the finished product would look and I think it turned out quite well myself. I know it's too pretty to hunt with but it will go up and down many mountains come fall time. It'll get scratched but that's OK, the clear coat is quite thick and I can probably buff out most or them.:D

Very tastefully done. Nice paint scheme and outstanding barrel fluting. Enjoy.

I have been thinking about building one off the target action also. Do you like the triger on it? Also all you have to do is change the bolt head and firing pin to a mag bolt face correct?

The trigger on mine is great. I have it set to under a pound, more like 12oz. Mine was a WSM before so I didn't need to change anything but yes I think your right about the magnum bolt face.

I have the same stock and same action and 26" Brux 1-8" twist in 6mm Norma BR. I love it and the trigger. Mine is a real good shooter. Kevin Rayhill built it and to save some money I finished the stock myself. It is not as good looking as yours, but it is my pride and joy. :)

How about some targets so we can see how it shoots.

In case you are interested this is what mine looks like:
