The first sub-100 degree day in months

Son and grandson's got some range time in Friday morning. Sighted in two newly stocked rifles and shot some at 100 & 200. The kids shot their pistols as well. The desert was dry and got warm about 0930.

That's great. Nice to get out and do some shooting. It's been low 80s & below for several weeks here in North Alabama. What kind of temps do you guys see in November?

Glad you were able to get out, it's been too darn hot this year and it doesn't seem to really cool down like it should by now. It's time we see some cooler weather.

It sure is time we get some cooler weather. Was really nice this morning, waa below 60 when I left to the range and was 91 on the way back before noon.

High's should be in the lower 80's by now and we are still in the high 90's. Deer hunt in 4 weeks will feel like we are hunting summer bucks Lol

It was that way here in North Alabama for the previous 3 years. Hot all the way up till the beginning of November then it would cool off all at once. We finally got an earlier start on fall weather this year.

We usually cool down by the first week of November, but this year has seen record heat and this week has a forecast riddled with 100 degree days. I have a desert mule deer hunt the second week of November. Hope it's a lot cooler by then.
