The 2022 World Open Championships
Saturday July 9th and Sunday July 10th
The 2022 World Open is returning to the "AGGREGATE" scoring system. The membership has voted to return to this system. As such, the point system will NOT be used in 2022.
This is a 4 Target Aggregate Match consisting of 2 separate 2 target agg matches in the Light and Heavy gun classes. A shooter is invited to shoot either or both classes, both days.
The Original Pennsylvania 1000-Yard Club will give $1000.00 to anyone breaking the match time current 1000 Yard Light Class or Heavy Class Ten Shot Group Benchrest World Record during this event. This award limited to the person who shoots the smallest, world record group of the weekend. Ie: one winner per class.
2021 Champions and results:
Light Gun smallest group of the match: Tim Zeigler - 3.413" group
Light Gun highest score of the match: Dave Way - 100 with 5.000" group
Heavy Gun smallest group of the match: James O'Hara - 3.266" group
Heavy Gun highest score of the match: Bill Gennaro - 100 with 4.577" group
