First time post. My daughter and I have been taking long range shooting classes for a couple years. She's a big Texas hunter, whitetail and pigs mostly. Her go to rifle is a Ruger American Ranch bolt action in 7.62x39. She's taken several pigs and a nice buck this past year with that combo. Stretched it out today. A little over 300 yards on this nice Axis. One shot in the neck dropped him on the spot. She shoots a Savage 110 DTR in 6mm Creedmoor long range too.

Yep....that's 'purdy'. Good lookin Axis deer, too. My 7 year-old daughter says she wants to shoot guns & deer like Daddy when she gets bigger....and I really hope she means it. Oh, and welcome to the forum.
