term for distance estimation error

I heard a term once for the issue that if your target range distance estimation is a little too far the bullet lands higher on the target and if its too short it lands lower on the target. They called it a something-box, I think. It told you the limit of distance estimation error that would cause a miss. Anyone know this term or what I'm thinking of?
