Talley Rings and Bases

What do you guys think about Talley rings and bases? I was looking at their two piece ultralight ring/base combos. They seem to be a pretty good product.

Have you guys had any issues with mounting scopes with products from these guys. Any issue with ring trueness and etc?

I have the two piece light weight set on my brother's and my own Kimber Montana in 300WSM and they work great.

I have a Savage long action receiver w/Shilen 26" barrel in Savage varmint contour that I would like to use these mounts to install my Nikon Monarch 4-16X50. My question is would I need the medium height rings or high mounts. Trying to keep scope as close to barrel as possible. Talley's web site does not spec center line height. Anyone have a similar combo?
