Talley Remington 700 rings on weatherby vanguard?

needing some help. Just Purchased a weatherby vanguard Wilderness in 300wm and need to put rings on it.

I have a Set of brand new talley lightweight remington 700 rings that i had purchased for a different rifle but didnt fit the scope/gun combo.

Would these work on my s2 vanguard?

i know they will mount to the rifle, but i have heard there is a height difference between the action on a 700 & the vanguards causing the vanguards to have zeroing issues.

I tried contacting talley twice with no luck.


any insight from anyone?

Talley used to have the height measurements on their web site. I've read they will work, but never tried it. Interested in knowing if they're interchangeable.

The 700s work on Weatherby Vanguards.

Two piece 700 rings will work on the vanguard. As to the height, try them out.
