Badgerord=The only question that I would have of you, what do you recomend? Lapping or not, using your rings and basses? I know that they come in "sets," so this tells me as long as they are used with your basses, lapping is unneeded. What is your opinion? And thank you for your controbution!

Both of my rifles have http://www.nearmanufacturing.com/ bases and Leupold Mark4 rings. I did not lap either.

One is .300WM the other .308, both used for
hunting and competitions.

Using a cheaper system for me is not worth it.
