I don't use it, I prefer bigger scopes more suited for military use. It's a fine scope, just not what I'm typically used to.

I had a ATACR on my sporter-sized rifle but it was just too big and out of proportion for the gun....in my opinion.
Great scope but I like the X5 more

Can't argue with that. For some reason I just prefer them. And yes, my rifles look top heavy.

Same here Big Jim but I tell you that the extra size and bulk IS worth it for the optical quality that you get from those big scopes.
Even though the X5 is a bit big, it's definitely a step down from the ATACR, so that's why I bought it.
