On my recent Leopard hunt, I finally accepted the fact that my eyes are aging when I had trouble finding my reticle in poor lighting conditions.

This is the ONLY reason that I am selling the above scope! I just purchased the same scope but with an illuminated reticle from Doug at Cameraland.

The above scope is the non-illuminated model with the excellent BRM reticle and 1/4" MOA. I do not have the box but I have all the paperwork that came with the scope. I also have the Swarovski multi-tool, and also included are Aluminum Swarovski flip-up lense caps which cost me $300.

In full disclosure, there is a SLIGHT rub mark on the underside of the objective bell from where my Tacticam was attached to the base rail, plus a very faint ring mark.

Overall the scope looks brand new and the glass is 100% PERFECT.

Again, I only bought the new one for the illuminated reticle and I have no use for a second X5.

I am asking $1,600 Priority Shipping and insurance included.

If you are looking for an insane scope in near perfect condition then this is your scope

Thanks for looking

Folks, this is an outstanding scope, I have the same one, the optics are amazing,
this is an excellent deal!

WOW! Thank you for that fellas! Yes, it is the best scope that I ever looked through....it's a perfect instrument both optically and mechanically. I just needed an illuminated model.

I want to be fair with the price. I paid almost $3,000 when new a few years ago, so I thought that 1/2 of that would be fair to both myself and the buyer.

I'll take it if no one goes through with the sale

Okay guys I never bought anything on LRH forums before. I guess phorwath and tribb were not interested? just to make sure this is all legit and I don't want to step on anybody's toes in the process. And I don't know how to PM anyone. Is it okay to buy the scope? Since the OP started another conversation with me.

If OP sent you a pm saying still available and it's yours if you want it then yes you're good. While we all try to be fair to those who come first, if they don't act fast they can lose it.

Hey Miles, I am assuming that you posted this after our pm conversation.

I would like to state it here for all to see that several guys are/were interested in buying my scope so to be fair to all, I sold it to (you) the first person who gave me a definitive YES in the order I received the PM's.

Furthermore m, I want to thank each one of you for your interest and understanding the situation.

Miles, to clear up the situation since you are new here, I have your information and the scope is already boxed up ready to go as soon as I receive your check

Again, thanks to all!
