Swarovski 3-12x50 TDS

can someone tell me how to use the focus? I dont have the box or manual, seems like I could get the reticle nice and clear, but then the target would be outta focus, what up? also seems that things bounce around too much while I am lookin thru... I am probably doing something wrong that is easy to fix, but am starting to get the afterpurchase blues!!! after a shot from the 243, I have to refocus again, just dont seem right... someone please throw me a bone

I have a 6x24 TDS I have no problems with the focus and I shoot a weatherby 338-378 I take it back or send it in to swarovski.I've had my scope for three year and shoot over 300 rounds with that scope on that gun no problems.
