I have a older set of swaro slc 15x. I ordered a set of nl so I'm letting these go. The are in perfect working order but does have some cosmetic blemishes from years of use the price reflects this. It comes with the outdoorsmen mount. $1000 shipped conus SPF C6A5B1F4-6938-423F-8CD6-E43519E4A98E.jpeg655F429A-B042-4A1E-A101-1267ACC4E490.jpeg9C6F8AB8-D988-4D7B-93AA-9D99810A1633.jpeg220D7AE8-BEF7-475A-B682-3413AB820D8A.jpeg

Okay gentlemen, I don't post or respond often, but this is exactly the group I've been wanting to confer with.
I can get the Steiner 15x56 new through experticity for around $850.
I've never looked through either brand, only my old trusty nikons.

Is there a significant advantage to Swarovski over the Steiner?

I'm on a new bean field lease in the river bottoms now where glassing out to a mile and a half is common. But mainly, I glass bucks out to a reasonable range 500-700 yards and I'm in Texas in a 13" inside spread rule county.

I realize wider deer are easily spotted, but I like to study tine Length, mass, etc and the nikons just don't cut it anymore.

My wife and I are both public school teachers with two in college so when I told her I was thinking about spending $2200 on binoculars, she turned over in her rocking chair.

I wish I'd of gotten these but too far down the line.
Please give good advise to a poor ole Texas boy wanting to see better.

thanks

I had a pair of steiners and returned them at that price. Your best bang for your buck will be the 15x56 meopta meostars which can be picked up used for 1000-1100. The meostars hang with the slc's all day imho.
