Anyone try the surplus 175gr fmj M118 bullets?
Or know of a cheap place to get them from?
I saw them listed at wideners.

Not trying to be rude, but is it the 118 Special Ball, Match, or the 118LR.
There is a difference. The 118 is a 173gr FMJBT and the 118LR is a 175gr BTHP. Try some in your rifle and see if it likes them. If it's the 118LR I would use them for deer hunting as well as paper punching.
If you can't get them cheap then try a box of the Federal or Remington with the 175gr SMK....basically the same round.

Midway, Graff and Sons, Natchez, Cabela's, Blue Star...there are plenty of companies that sell just bullets
