suppressor for a 22=250?

Hello,
I know virtually nothing about suppressors but will be picking a rebarrelled 22-250 for varmint shooting tomorrow. With its high velocity would a suppressor even work for this caliber? Can a person create a suppressor for such a varmint weapon that would be practical?

Yes, you could use a .224 centerfire suppressor, or a 6.5 or a 30 cal. Options galore. Great deals still on Black Friday.

You will contain the "BOOM" that is so loud but you will keep the super sonic "crack". Should sound much like shooting a 22 lr

The supersonic crack is actually pretty darned loud but it's loud ----> out there.

If you get a suppressor you will never want to shoot unsuppressed again. I use a Banish 223 on my .204 shooting at 4,000 fps.
