We were back in Kenna, WV at Hog Haven! This time it was a 3 generation affair. My son had already take a hog from there in May 2021...so he was after something bigger... but to the hogs.

These were a tough find were skunked from 8am to 3pm... then it got real up close and personal... nothing long range about it but a ton of fun.
Their damage....notice the mud. Then check out the pigs.

I did not recover the bullet but it seemed to do the job. The close proximity meant my speed was still well above 2000fps. Caught spine and bone and kept on pushing.

Best performing bullet was the antique 150gr 30-30(knowing my dad that bullet might be older than me)...only shot behind the shoulders. 30cal enter 2" exit... for only the cost of 2 bbq ribs.

The 7mm and 458 went calber in and maybe 1.5 caliber out both neck shots.
