stocks????

(1)i need a new stock but what do i get.I dont want wood and on my last 4 glass stocks the area around the action kept colapsing.Its just my luck that i cant find any good stocks for a rem 700 long.they all seem to be for short actions or that expensive that its just a joke.i was thinking of going to aluminum .(2) is it just me or do you find that the cheek rest on stocks are way to low ???

I'm in the same dilemna. I'm currently looking for a Rem M700 PSS stock in L/A, but not having any luck. I have a PSS S/A & love it.

I'm even looking for something comparable in wood, but still no luck...
