I am now considering changing the stock on my rifle instead of fitting a comb raiser, expensive I know but it may be the only way I can get what I want. My question is: McMillan provide good quality stocks, is there anyone else I can look at?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the links, they make good reading. I assume from their prices they are on par with McMillan. I am toying with the idea of an A-5 for the Sako and possibly trading the .308 for something a little more special.

BEWARE of the A-5. Once you get behind that baby you will be spoiled for life.

I swear, every other rifle I have feels like a toy now compared to that A5.

They are great

The A5 is good and so is the A3 if you do not want the hook butt.

I have a new uninletted A3 with adjustable cheekpiece. Green/black with yellow marble. $350 plus shipping, saves you $100 over ordering.

I am certainly interested, what rifle is it for, or is that a real dumb question?

Would you ship to the UK?

Thanks
