Hey Folks! Just got my custom .338-06 back from being Cerakoted and I'm looking for a "heavier" stock to help tame recoil a little. Something with an aluminum bedding block would be ideal. Thanks!

How heavy of a barrel .

.75 at the muzzle. Magnum contour.

I have a B&C blind mag long action, pillar bedded. I routed out the barrel channel for a heavy barrel.

Sounds like what I'm looking for. Had been looking at the Choate Tactical and Ultimate Varmint. Those are said to have a barrel channel for up to 1.25" barrel which would would probably look a little weird with the barrel I have, but honestly there's not many options out there and I SHOOT my rifles....I don't sit and STARE at them . Has the stock you have already been glass/skim bedded? What color?

Yes the stock has been skim bedded. It is black with white webbing.
