Steel targets

Most of this steel is used for wear plates on heavy equipment. My suggestion would be to go to a facility that specializes in repairing big heavy equipment i.e. backhoes, dozers, things of that nature that require bucket and blade repair. The armor stuff is not cheap so don't get your hopes up that you will make it out of a shop for $20 bucks.

If you can get some used cat tracks from a heavy equipment place they work great. The ones we got have been shot by a 338win with a 300smk at 300yards and a 300rum with 240smk at 200 yards and barely left a dimple. They are about 8"x22x but we cut them up and weld them together in diferent sizes.

Widners reloading supplys in Johnsoncity, Tn has some nice ar500 targets for sale I think 64bucks a piece if you buy three or more. just do a google search for their website
