Starline .243 brass opinions?

Was wondering if anyone has tried Starline .243 brass (or any bottleneck rifle caliber) in their target/varmint rifles and how satisfied/dissatisfied you may be with it. I've used their pistol brass with good results, but not their bottleneck rifle brass. Thanks guys!

used their 308, 45-100, 45-70, 41mag, 45acp. its a little hard but other than that it seems ok. only at 3 firings on the 308, but at 35 firings some of the 45-70/100 started to let go. Im at 40ish on the 41mag and they are still going strong, a few split necks here and there but shorten them up and 41specials....
FYI I just picked up some Jagemann 308 brass from natchez 19.99/50 and they seem pretty darn nice for the price they are the same weight as hornady match (little heavier than Winchester)

I use their 338 Federal brass in a bolt action and an AR, no complaints from me. I picked up some 223 top neck up for a 6x45 bolt action, still waiting on the barrel so I can't speak how it's going to last but I didn't lose any during the necking up process.

So far, sounds good guys. I know in this hobby you definitely "get what you pay for". Lapua/Norma brass is good quality, but they're awful proud of their prices, too! Just curious how Starline compares in QUALITY. The difference in price is huge.....

Just happened to be near my gear. Out of 15 randomly selected, es on the new 338 was 3.0 gr, with 12 being within 1.5, and the 223 was 1.2 for an es and 14 being within .5gr, so I'm happy with that for a hunting rifle.

I am running 50 lrp in 6.5 creed, got them in store while I waited for lapua.

They took a little extra prep time, trim and primer pocket work, but they are going strong and sitting at 5 firings right now. The primer pockets/flash holes on the batch I got were pretty rough but I have tools for that. (I did not weigh or sort them)

Not babying them either, stout load of rl26, 143 eld-x and br-2's. Have annealed once, will again after the next firing.

Not bad at all! Have you received your Lapua brass yet? If so, were there any differences in performance/group sizes?

I did get the lapua brass, I have tuned it further and bedded the recoil lug, so groups all around have shrunk. The lapua brass is shooting smaller groups right now, but the starline is .5-.7" 5 shoot groups all day.

I basically duplicated the load with lapua brass, I worked it back up and everything but settled on the same distance from lands and powder charge is within .3 grains. Small rifle primers though.

Target is first and the last time I shot paper with the star line. Some .22 holes in there too on the second target.

Gonna have to try some Starline brass I guess. I like what I see there!
