spotted this lone turkey browsing in the back yard this morning, and now it is back for dinner. i stalked up fairly close to it, down behind a retaining wall and the picnic table.

it is still coming by every day! usually in the morning, and again in the evening. i had 2 coyotes show up sunday, and then monday evening one of them chased it. it was pitching a fit, but got away from the 'yote, and has been back several times since then. maybe, at least it can survive in the big wild world! i have been looking for an opportunity to "help" it a little with the coyote problem!
