Take a look at this one and it has ED lens and is on sale. Most of the ones with ED glass are usually over a 1,000$.

In the 20+ years I have had one, never needed either. I know a lot of people that own them and the only service needed was when one fell out of the back of a pickup truck. I don't remember the cost to repair it, but he had it back the next time I saw him, which was about 1 month.

I own 3 with one being their top of the line $3,000 scope. You will not be disappointed with one.

I have the leupold gold ring, and i really like how lightweight and compact it is. I had a chance to buy a swaro, and when i compared them side by side i decided to stay with the leupold (and i have swaro binos). I glass with my binos on the tripod, and use the scope only if i need a closer look....
