Savage 243 barrel, 22", blue, sporter contour 1-9.25 Twist.

Take off barrel from a Savage 11. Fired 110 rounds fired. The only bullets I shot in this barrel were Hornady 105 A-Max with 42g of Superformance powder.

$55 Shipped

I may be interested but a couple questions for you -
How did it shoot the 105 A-max's.?
What made you decide to pull a barrel with only that many rounds down the tube?

Re: Savage 243 barrel

Traded for a new 6MM Remington barrel in varmint contour.
The 105 A-Max shoots good in Savage barrels with a 1-9.25 twist rate. The Sierra 107 usually does not. The Sierra may look ok at 100 but when you move out to 300 it is not very accurate.

Had never loaded Hodgdon Superformance powder before this summer and load data, except for a few calibers, is hard to get. Hodgdon list loads for the 75g bullet in 6mm but nothing else. So it was a pleasant surprise that it worked well with the 105 A-Max.
