For sale is a detachable magazine bottom-metal assembly for the Remington 700 Long Action, manufactured by Kwik Klip - as seen by the photos, it is much better finished and a practical alternative to the floorplate type bottom-metal. I have it installed on three rifles and it feeds and functions flawlessly. It is listed at Cabelas for $110 - they also sell spare magazines. The magazine box inside over all length is for standard and magnum cartridges up to 3.35" long. I have two for sale at $100 shipped or both for $180 shipped. I prefer USPS Money Order or PayPal 'gift' transfer.
