Spending $$$ on long range hunting and then......

last night on the Outdoor Channel I see this guy with a cute young lady as his guide shoot a nice pronghorn buck and mule deer buck with a bow and arrow at about 30 yards each. With MY set up I'd have to aim at their hooves at that range.

I have hunted the pronghorn for over 25 years in several different states. They are great fun to hunt.

I have taken them at over 400 yards and as close as 30 yards, all with a rifle. I have had them approach me as I stood motionless in an open field, as close as 50 yards. So, you see they can offer many different opportunities to harvest one. And the meat is fine eatin'.

I don't use a guides service, although they may be your only way to hunt some areas. Best of luck,
