Speer load info

Im trying to find some speer load data for the 160gr mag tips #1637, in the 7mm rem mag. I cant see buying a book for one box of bullets. I have retumbo, h1000, and 7828 at my disposal. Thanks all

From SPEER handbook #14, 24" bbl, CCI 250 primers

H1000 is relatively high on velocity list, only RL-19, H870, RL-22, RL-25 are higher in that order. Retumbo and 7828 are not listed (I think the 7828 would be pretty good too but may not have the temp stability of H1000).

H1000 start 65.0 grains gives 2,761 fps and max load of 69.0 grains gives 2,936 fps

COAL was 3.225"

I get better results with Retumbo than H-1000 in my 7mmRM.

Thd Hodgdon Data Center lists this as the Retumbo load range. 65.0 - 69.5 grains and 43,200 cup - 43,900 cup pressure, 2756 - 2915 fps with COL 3.290. This data is listed for the 160 grain Nosler Partition but you can use it for reference to work up your load with a Speer bullet.

I shoot both the 160 grain and 175 grain Magtip bullets using Retumbo.
