There seems to be a bit of other people switching to long range from Sp. I wonder if Len would add a specialty handgun classified section. Just throwing it out there not looking to get my Butt in a ringer. 🤓 Bruce.

I like it. I fear my request for an 8” 22lr T/C barrel will fall fast in the current classifieds!!!!

I think It would be a great idea. I sold my SSK 309 JDJ barrel to a member through the classifieds by responding to a post.

I don't know how far defines long range ,but Iv'e shot several mule deer pushing 300 yards with my xp 100 in 284 win. and a couple cow elk with a 375 JDJ .

I've been giving thought about drifting that way since most of my shots are within 300 anyway.

Since I just hurt my shoulder, I have become very interested in the Nosler M 48 Independence Pistol for hunting deer in the woods, and hay fields at Modest ranges. . Looks like a fun gun and Ernie likes it. Not giving up my rifles, just something to use now and again, from the box blind in Penn.

I would like to see a specialty handgun classifieds. Thought about getting into handgun hunting alot more. Some people think there stuff is made of gold though. I recently looked at a 357 maxim barrel, said lightly used , rifling was almost gone. 400 dollars, I just walked away laughing.

TC stuff is crazy high.
In terms of barrels, unless you find a great buy that you really want, order one from a good TC barrel maker, exactly the way you want.

Who makes quality TC barrels. I don't mind paying for quality. Don't have many options in AK

Bullberry, Match Grade Machine, and SSK. Didn't list them in any order
If they have a top tier (better quality) barrel choice, I would go with that myself.
The main issue will be how well they chamber it and crown it
