Hello, I have been reading the information on this site for awhile. Decided to join in on the forum. I like to deer hunt with crossbow, handgun, rifle and muzzleloader. My favorite caliber is the 7-08 remington.
I have been tossing a new project around in my head, that is how I came upon this site. I am wanting to build a long range carry rifle capable of accurate one shot kills on medium sized game, ie whittails, at 600 yds.
The action is a long action savage, caliber 6.5-284 Norma. It is still in the planning stage, except I have the action in hand.
