Good evening folks!
Found this site looking to improve my Remington 700. New to long range shooting and am hoping to learn some tips and techniques here.
I have a 700 VLS in 243 and hope to tune it (and myself) to shoot some decent 500 meter groups.

We have a few 4 and 5 hundred meter ranges at the local rod and gun clubs.

Not much opportunity for hunting shots at that range here other than coyotes and woodchucks. We occasionally see them on the far side of harvested crop fields but shots that long are rare here.
