Greetings. I joined the forum to learn about the experiences folks have with long range hunting, particularly Rocky Mountain elk hunting. I have killed two elk with a 7 mm Mag, one at 400 yards and one at 20! But I am giving that rifle to my "little" brother as encouragement for him to come to Colorado with me next year. So, I am interested in the latest and greatest rifles and rounds. I'm also a 6.5x55 nut. That's my "Pennsylvania" rifle. Ohio, of course, means shotgun, my .45 Colt (once I learn to shoot well enough), or my real Pennsylvania .58 flintlock. I obviously enjoy all types of firearms and continue to seek the perfect round. And I'm looking forward to interesting discussion.
