Sonic cleaned and no difference....

I guess I am lazy, I just run them in a rock tumbler with dish soap and water mostly to get any dirt and dust off.
 
I use the Hornady case cleaning solution and some citric acid in the ultrasonic cleaner. After a few cycles, the brass looks pretty good. I toss them into the vibratory cleaner for an hour or so to dry them off and comes out very clean.

Here's a recent batch of 300 BLK cases.

I'd test that sonic cleaner if it's not seeming to do anything. Put a small piece of foil in your solution and turn it on. It should start creating holes in the foil.

I would have been happy with those results! Where do I find citric acid?

hate to say it, but.... it's the best unless you wet tumble with SS pins.
