Rifle is actually about 14 years old it has seen lots of us it's basically my goto rifle, Deer Bear,Pigs,Yotes,Target. Only the chambering is fairly new here's my short list.
1- Barrel=Shilen
2- caliber 25-284
3- bbl length=24"
4- twist 1 in 10
5- I use 100 grain and 85 grain bullets only
6- H1000 and H4350 are m powder choices
7- Lapua 6.5-284 brass and also Winchester 284 brass are both used depending on load.
Smiths used are
1-Bullberry
2-Kampfeld customs
3-Jim in cali
Gun as originally a 250 Improved and shot very good but I tired of it and wanted something different and the 25-284 is what fit the chamber best without setting the barrel back and losing anything not to mention removing and re welding the barrel lug.
