Question: what does the head stamp look like as i purchased some new unfired gold medal cases and all it say's if Federal 308 but are in new gold medal boxes.

Brass does not mention match on the headstamp. Looks just like yours. This was factory Gold medal Match ammo with 168gr. bullet.
