So I messed up. When I moved to west texas I never imagined I would need a dehumidifier. As you can see I did not catch it in time and there is cosmetic damage. It is not deep. I am hoping to a hobbyist they would be worth having and refinishing. Both shoot fine. Inside the bbl is fine. Everything functional.
1 is a Remington 870 12 gauge. Shoots 2 3/4 and 3in. Wood is birch.

The other is a Savage .17 bmag. Will sell with or without scope. Put on a boyd thumb hole and bedded it. Accutriger @ 2.5 lbs.

I dont care to mess with them. I have other hobbies.

I understand a little work needs done to make them shiny. So I will entertain low offers bit please be reasonable.

Thank you

I would rub that shotgun with 000 steel wool with kerosene then de-grease it real good.
Then some flat black paint and it will go for years!

I've had this happen, not quite so severe though, and I managed to get the rust out and keep most of the blueing that was there by dousing the rust in 3 in 1 household oil, and then gently rubbing with 0000 steel wool. The steel wool is fine enough that with oil it won't mess up the finish, but rough enough to scratch the rust away and keep some of the blueing underneath. Almost all of the blueing in some cases.

Also, pm me on price for the savage 17
