So I acquired a Justin Sipp 28" Kreiger. Shoots 140 Hybrids 1/4 MOA. I started load development with the Speer Gold Dot 140 as I have a number of them and they are awesome Hunting bullets in my Creedmoor. I got my hands on some Ramshot Magnum and did a 15 shot pressure test. I never did run into pressure and Im meticulous with reloading and brass prep. Velocities were up and down until I hit the 58gr area. 2900s is no slouch for a 140gr 6.5, so im happy with that.

Is this common to be up and down so extreme with Ramshot until you hit a flat spot ?

Went out this afternoon 58.1 gave me an SD-4 ES-12. Group was .67 at -030. Ill work seating Depths tomorrow. This bullet liked to have a big jump in the Creedmoor.

Not to bad for my hunting load. 140 Speer Gold Dot at 2998 fps, 58.1 RS Magnum. Fed 210m, -070 shot a .34 four shot group this morning, including the cold bore. Opened back up to .5 at -080. Ill knock out a 10 shot. verify speed and SD and do a drop validation at 600m.

I'm loading the same bullet in my 6.5x284 after seeing results on several mule deer taken with a 6.5 cm, the first and only test Iv'e done so far was with RL23 and the load I use for the 143gr ELDX at 2960 was on the hot side and the SGD came out at 3000 with some flattening to the primer and slight ejector marks. This week I'm going to test some more after backing off a grain and see how it does.
