Siller TAC-338 Action

My bolt release is not working so I'm unable to remove the bolt for proper cleaning. I'm not a gunsmith, but have worked on guns for over 40 years as a hobby, and can usually fix or repair most issues such as this.

Has anyone ever just tapped out the pin and replaced the release? The rep at Stiller said the pin was probably bent just enough for the release button not to depress properly. I've change triggers many times over the years, and disassembled quite a few bolts.

I haven't done a Stiller, but I've changed a bunch of bolt stops in Tikka rifles. No big deal , just take your time and use a quality punch that doesn't mushroom easily .
