Sierra Boattails or Hornady A Max?

I wouldn't hesitate to shoot a deer, or a caribou with the 208, but an Oryx, I have seen them hit very well and never recovered with Partitions. I think the 375 is going to get the nod for elk this fall, shots are rarely ever more than 300 yards where I hunt, 150 is long in a lot of spots, and the big Ruger hasn't been blooded yet. Thanks again for all of the replies, I learn every time I log on here.
