Show me your favorite Coyote gun

I have several favorites, just depending on my mood that day.

My daughter with "her" CZ-527 in .223. Took that picture one day when she was out practicing on "Jezebel" the interactive coyote target. Real workhorse of a little rifle for under 250 yards. I carry it quite a bit. My oldest son and I have dropped a lot of coyotes with it. You can see where here recently I chopped the end of the butt-stock off and fitted and adjustable butt-plate to it so I can make it either short for my daughter or lengthen it out for me with just a twist of the allen wrench.

Savage with a 1-8 twist Shilen Staniless Select Match barrel. Choate stock, Leupold 6.5x20 VX-III, all Cerakote done myself. This rifle is a flat out tack driver, use the 64 Berger flat base varmint for coyotes. Nasty medicine indeed.

Sometimes I bring out this one. Remington 40-XBKS in the old school McMillian kevlar stock. 25" Barlein 1-8 twist, trued and chambered by Jon Beanland in 6.5 Creedmoor. Did the Cerakote on this one myself too.

Wow, that was hands down the best thread I have seen on this site. Many nice rifles. Sorry I don't have pics, but I use a Remington VLS 243 win with a Nightforce 5.5-22. Using H4350 it will shoot just about any bullet with a sierra 85 gr hpbt being my favorite. My other that I like lately is an FN SPR A3 shooting a 155 berger.

After shooting hundreds of coyotes I have come to one conclusion. If I hit them it dooesn't much matter what I was shooting because they almost always die or if I miss it doesn't matter either because they almost always run away.

Latest toy:

Stainless 700, chambered in a tight necked 6x47 Lapua, bolt timed and tig welded, Brux #3 eight twist cut to 22", bedded in a B&C Ti Mountain rifle stock, 3.5-10x40 Leupold with a regular duplex and a M1 knob on top, setting in lapped Talley Lightweights. Weighs in at 7lbs 5ozs.

Custom camo by Krylon.

Shoots 105 Berger VLD's at 3110, and I've confirmed drops to 1200.
